Location data:

Tempo Master requires access to the location of your device. When asked, the current location and speed of movement are determined by GPS to show the speed and the local speed limit. Data about your location will not be saved by the app and will not be processed for any other purpose.

Access to protected storage:

In this memory area, the settings made on the setup screen and the positions of the slidable overlay displays are saved to a file.

Access to USB storage:

In this memory area, the database is stored with the Open-Street Map data.

Signals at system level:

Graphics are shown on the display and acoustic signals are output via the loudspeakers of the device.

Prevent standby mode:

Prevents self-deactivation of the display while driving.

Full Internet access:

Only needed when calling the setup screen. There will be a connection to my homepage and checked if there is an updated OSM database. If that is the case, it can be downloaded immediately. Thereafter, the unpacking takes place immediately in the USB memory of the device. The older database version will be overwritten without request. If no internet connection is available, this will be signaled. Of course, downloading is impossible. The app works but with the old database version on without time limit.

Device and app history:

When starting the setup menu from the overlay, the app detects the currently active foreground app. This will be reactivated after exiting the setup. The installed applications are determined to additionally start with Tempomaster (optional).

Bluetooth:

Automatic start and stop of Tempomaster depending on an existing Bluetooth connection.

Microphone recording:

Storing points at top speeds with the help of an audio file. These points are stored in the GPX file, which can be edited after the ride. Here you can play the audio files.

The email feature of Google is used in the Android apps Tempomaster to send data. These data (GPX Files) are created by the user independently. By specifying an accessible eMail address, he can check the content of the sent data.
